I'm Jessica, an oil painter based in Arlington, Virginia. I listen closely to my clients so every piece becomes a meaningful keepsake. After 25 years in technology and design, I returned to painting — something tactile, human, and away from screens. I love capturing the personality and spirit of pets in oil paint, a medium that's lasted for centuries and will keep your portrait beautiful for generations to come.

When I'm not painting, you'll find me hiking trails with my family, attempting piano pieces slightly beyond my skill level, doing needlepoint (yes, really), delivering corny jokes people shrug at, and worrying a lot — which probably explains why I paint.
